해당 CommuniGate Pro LDAP 서비스는 버전 5.0.7에 존재하는 서비스 거부 취약점에 취약하다. CommuniGate Pro는 상용 e-mail 및 groupware 어플리케이션이다. CommuniGate Pro Core 서버 버전 5.0.7을 포함한 여러 버전들은 LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) 구현에 있는 오류로 인하여 서비스 거부 취약점에 취약하다. 잘 조작된 DN(Distinguished Names) 필드들을 포함한 비정상적인 요청들을 보냄으로써, 원격지의 공격자는 영향을 받는 LDAP 서비스를 크래쉬 시킬 수 있다.
