The host system's /var/log/messages file's permission or owner is unsafe. /var/log/messages is a file that records system-standard error messages.
If this file is exposed, serious security problems can occur. So normal users need to be prohibited from accessing this file.

Reset permissions of the file lower than 644 as the following
chmod 644 /var/log/messages
if the owner of the file is not root, change the owner
chown root /var/log/messages |
