Detailed Description |
The IBM WebSphere Application Server is vulnerable to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities in the 'navigateTree.do' script. IBM WebSphere Application Server versions 6.0.x and 6.1.x are vulnerable to various cross-site scripting and cross-site request forgery vulnerabilities, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input passed to the 'keyField', 'nameField', 'valueField', and 'frameReturn' parameters of the 'uddigui/navigateTree.do' script. These vulnerabilities could allow a remote attacker to create a malicious URI link that includes hostile HTML and script code. If this link were to be followed, the hostile code may be rendered in the web browser of the victim user. This would occur in the security context of the affected web site and may allow for theft of cookie-based authentication credentials or other attacks.
