| Detailed Description |
The ZeroBoard software is vulnerable to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities. ZeroBoard is a freely available, open source PHP-based bulletin board software, and widely used in Korea. Zeroboard versions 4.1pl6 and earlier are vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input in the sn1, year, filename, or page parameters in a URL request to the gallery and union_schedule functions, view_image.php script, or the id function. These vulnerabilities could permit a remote attacker to create a malicious URI link that includes hostile HTML and script code. If this link were to be followed, the hostile code may be rendered in the web browser of the victim user. This would occur in the security context of the affected web site and may allow for theft of cookie-based authentication credentials or other attacks.
