| Detailed Description |
The UBB.threads software is vulnerable to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities. UBB.Threads is a bulletin board system written in PHP. UBB.Threads versions 6.2.3 and 6.5 are vulnerable to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities, in the showflat.php script for version 6.2.3 and the calendar.php, login.php, and online.php scripts for version 6.5. These vulnerabilities could permit a remote attacker to create a malicious URI link that includes hostile HTML and script code. If this link were to be followed, the hostile code may be rendered in the web browser of the victim user. This would occur in the security context of the affected web site and may allow for theft of cookie-based authentication credentials or other attacks.
