Detailed Description |
The version of Tomcat installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 8.5.40. It is, therefore, affected by a remote code execution vulnerability due to a bug in the way the JRE passes command line arguments to Windows. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this to execute arbitrary commands.
