Linuxconf is an interactive configuration and administration utility for the Linux operating system. Linuxconf is suspected to contain various vulnerabilities, so you should not let allow networking access to anyone. |
| Recommendation |
Disable Linuxconf access (TCP port 98) from the network by using a firewall. If you do not need Linuxconf, use the Linuxconf utility (command line or X window based version) to disable it. |
