Detailed Description The Hotfix for 'Buffer Overflow Vulnerability in JPEG Processing (GDI+)' has not been applied.
JPEG is a platform-independent image format that supports a high level of compression. JPEG is a widely supported Internet standard developed by the Joint Photographic Experts Group. Any program that processes JPEG images could be vulnerable to this buffer overflow vulnerability, caused by an unchecked buffer in the processing of JPEG images. If a user is logged on with administrator privileges, an attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could take complete control of an affected system, including installing programs; viewing, changing, or deleting data; or creating new accounts with full privileges. Users whose accounts are configured to have fewer privileges on the system would be at less risk than users who operate with administrative privileges.

* Note: This check requires an account with Guest or upper privileges which can access the registry of the remote host to scan. Absence of these condition will result in the check not being performed and a False Negative for all vulnerable hosts.
