| Detailed Description |
The hotfix (KB873350) for 'Vulnerability in RPC Runtime Library' has not been applied. Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0 could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by a vulnerability in the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Runtime Library. An information disclosure and denial of service vulnerability exists when the RPC Runtime Library processes specially crafted messages. A remote attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could potentially read portions of active memory or cause the affected system to stop responding.
