Detailed Description The Hotfix(KB885835) for 'Privilege Elevation Vulnerability in Windows Kernel and LSASS' has not been applied. This update resolves the following newly-discovered, privately reported vulnerabilities:

- Windows Kernel Vulnerability(CAN-2004-0893): This privilege elevation vulnerability is caused by a flaw in the way that the Windows Kernel launches applications, which could allow a logged on user to take complete control of the system.
- LSASS Vulnerability(CAN-2004-0894): This privilege elevation vulnerability is caused by a flaw in the way that the LSASS validates identity tokens, which could allow a logged on user to take complete control of the system.

An attacker who successfully exploited the most severe of these vulnerabilities could take complete control of an affected system, including installing programs; viewing, changing, or deleting data; or creating new accounts that have full privileges.

* Note: This check requires an account with Guest or upper privileges which can access the registry of the remote host to scan. Absence of these condition will result in the check not being performed and a False Negative for all vulnerable hosts.
