| Detailed Description |
The Cumulative Security Update (KB899753) for ISA Server 2000 has not been applied. Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000 SP 2, Microsoft Small Business Server 2000 and Small Business Server 2003 Premium Edition are vulnerable to several security vulnerabilities which may allow an attacker to elevate his privileges:
1) HTTP Content Header Vulnerability: It allows remote attackers to poison the ISA cache or bypass content restriction policies via a malformed HTTP request packet containing multiple Content-Length headers. 2) NetBIOS Predefined Filter Vulnerability: It allows remote attackers to connect to services utilizing the NetBIOS protocol via a NetBIOS connection with an ISA Server that uses the NetBIOS (all) predefined packet filter.
* Note: This check requires an account with Guest or upper privileges which can access the registry of the remote host to scan. Absence of these condition will result in the check not being performed and a False Negative for all vulnerable hosts.
