Detailed Description The hotfix (KB911927) for 'Remote Code Execution Vulnerability in Web Client Service' has not been applied. Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 are vulnerable to a buffer overflow vulnerability, caused by improper handling of Web Client requests. By sending a series of specially-crafted messages to a vulnerable system, a remote attacker with valid authentication credentials could execute arbitrary code on the system.

* Note: This check requires an account with Guest or upper privileges which can access the registry of the remote host to scan. Absence of these condition will result in the check not being performed and a False Negative for all vulnerable hosts.
