Detailed Description The hotfix (KB901190) for 'Vulnerability in the Korean Input Method Editor' has not been applied. Korean Input Method Editor (IME) in Korean versions of Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Server 2003, and Office 2003, could allow an attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system via unknown vectors related to "exposed functionality" that runs in the LocalSystem context. An attacker with valid authentication credentials on a vulnerable system could exploit this vulnerability to gain complete control of the system.

* Note: This check requires an account with Guest or upper privileges which can access the registry of the remote host to scan. Absence of these condition will result in the check not being performed and a False Negative for all vulnerable hosts.
