Detailed Description The hotfix (MS06-046, KB922616) for 'Remote Code Execution Vulnerability in HTML Help' has not been applied. The HTML Help Control (HHCtrl Object) is a Windows ActiveX control that provides the ability to view HTML help files. Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP1 and SP2, and Server 2003 up to SP1 could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the host, caused by a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in HTML Help ActiveX control (hhctrl.ocx). An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by constructing a malicious Web page that could potentially allow remote code execution if a user visited that page. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could take complete control of an affected system.

* Note: This check requires an account with Guest or upper privileges which can access the registry of the remote host to scan. Absence of these condition will result in the check not being performed and a False Negative for all vulnerable hosts.
