Detailed Description The hotfix (MS06-057, KB923191) for 'Vulnerability in Windows Explorer' has not been applied. Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP1 and SP2, and Server 2003 up to SP1 could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the host, caused by improper validation of input parameters when invoked by the Windows Explorer WebViewFolderIcon ActiveX control (Web View). An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by constructing a malicious Web page that could potentially allow an attacker to save a file on the user's system if a user visited a malicious Web site or viewed a malicious e-mail message. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could take complete control of an affected system. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability.

* Note: This check requires an account with Guest or upper privileges which can access the registry of the remote host to scan. Absence of these condition will result in the check not being performed and a False Negative for all vulnerable hosts.
