Detailed Description |
The hotfix (MS07-018, 925939) for 'Vulnerabilities in Microsoft Content Management Server' has not been applied. Microsoft Content Management Server 2001 SP1 and 2002 SP2 could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by improper handling of specially-crafted HTTP requests. By sending a specially-crafted HTTP GET request containing unexpected characters, an attacker could execute arbitrary code on an affected system. In addition to this flaw, the vulnerable softwares also contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability.
