Detailed Description The hotfix (MS07-046, KB938829) for 'Remote Code Execution Vulnerability in GDI' has not been applied. Microsoft Windows GDI (Graphics Device Interface) enables applications to use graphics and formatted text on both video displays and printers. Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP1 and SP2, and Server 2003 up to SP1 could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused due to an integer overflow in the Graphics Rendering Engine (GRE) within the "AttemptWrite()" function when parsing Windows Metafiles (WMF). An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by constructing a specially crafted image that could potentially allow remote code execution if a user opened a specially crafted attachment in e-mail.

* Note: This check requires an account with Guest or upper privileges which can access the registry of the remote host to scan. Absence of these condition will result in the check not being performed and a False Negative for all vulnerable hosts.
