This patch replaces the one that is provided in Microsoft Security Bulletin (MS07-045, 937143), which is itself a cumulative update and resolves newly discovered public vulnerability: - Address Bar Spoofing Vulnerability (CVE-2007-3892): Spoofing - Error Handling Memory Corruption Vulnerability (CVE-2007-3893): Remote Code Execution - Address Bar Spoofing Vulnerability (CVE-2007-1091, CVE-2007-3826): Spoofing If a user is logged on with administrative privileges, an attacker who successfully exploited the most severe of these vulnerabilities could take complete control of an affected system, including installing programs; viewing, changing, or deleting data; or creating new accounts with full privileges. * Note: This check requires an account with Guest or upper privileges which can access the registry of the remote host to scan.
