Detailed Description The hotfix (MS08-022, KB944338) for 'Vulnerability in VBScript and Jscript Scripting Engines' has not been applied. Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP2, and Server 2003 SP1 and SP2 could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by a vulnerability in the way that the VBScript and Jscript scripting engines decode script in Web pages. By convincing a user to open a specially-crafted Web page, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the affected system or to cause the system to stop responding.

* Note: This check requires an account with Guest or upper privileges which can access the registry of the remote host to scan. Absence of these condition will result in the check not being performed and a False Negative for all vulnerable hosts.
