Detailed Description |
The hotfix (MS08-037, 953230) for 'Spoofing Vulnerabilities in DNS' has not been applied. The Microsoft Windows DNS client and DNS server are vulnerable to DNS spoofing vulnerabilities. By sending malicious DNS responses to DNS requests, a remote attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities to spoof DNS responses or to redirect Internet traffic to any server of the attacker's choosing.
