Detailed Description |
The hotfix (953747) for 'Vulnerabilities in Outlook Web Access for Exchange Server' has not been applied. Outlook Web Access (OWA) component for Microsoft Exchange Server is vulnerable to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities in the HTML parser and Data validation code. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted email from within their OWA session, a remote attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary script within the security context of victim's session.
* Note: This check requires an account with Guest or upper privileges which can access the registry of the remote host to scan. Absence of these condition will result in the check not being performed and a False Negative for all vulnerable hosts.
