Detailed Description |
The hotfix (MS11-031, 2514666) for 'Vulnerability in JScript and VBScript Scripting Engines Could Allow Remote Code Execution' has not been applied. A remote code execution vulnerability exists in the JScript and VBScript scripting engines due to a memory corruption error. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could run arbitrary code in the context of the logged-on user. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights.
* Note: This check requires an account with administrative privileges which can log into the host to scan. Absence of these condition will result in the check not being performed and a False Negative for all vulnerable hosts.
