Detailed Description |
The NTFS file system can set ownerships and use rights of whole files and directories when formated, and offer enhanced security functions than the FAT file system by providing ACL. You can use "convert.exe" command to change the FAT file system to the NTFS, but default ACL is not applied in case of converting during running the FAT file system. So we recommend to select the NTFS file system in the installation time.
* Platforms Affected: Microsoft Windows Any version |
Recommendation |
1. Input as follows in command prompt(DOS windows) Start> Run> CMD> convert [Driver Name]: /fs:ntfs (ex) F drive is formatted in NTFS when inputing "convert F: /fs/ntfs" |
