Detailed Description The Google Toolbar, according to its version number, has a cross-site scripting vulnerability. Google Toolbar is an add-on component for Microsoft Internet Explorer that extends the functionality of the Google search engine. Google Toolbar version 2.0.114.1 and earlier versions could permit a remote attacker to create a malicious web page that includes hostile HTML and script code. If this web page is visited, the hostile code may be rendered in the web browser of the victim user. This would occur in the security context of the affected web site and may allow for theft of cookie-based authentication credentials or other attacks.
