| Detailed Description |
A user or group with the 'Synchronize directory service data' privilege is detected. 'Synchronize directory service data' allows a process to provide directory synchronization services. This privilege is relevant only on Domain Controllers, and is required for a domain controller to use the LDAP directory synchronization services. By default, it is assigned to the Administrator and LocalSystem accounts on domain controllers.
* Note: This check requires an account with administrative privileges which can log into the host to scan. Absence of these condition will result in the check not being performed and a False Negative for all vulnerable hosts.
