| Detailed Description |
The Opera Web browser, according to its version number, has a denial of service vulnerability via the 'news' URL. Opera is a Web browser, developed by Opera Software, for multiple operating systems. Opera versions prior to 7.20 are vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by improper bounds checking when processing a 'news:' URL of excessive length. It has been reported that this issue will trigger a condition that will prevent Opera from functioning until the program has been reinstalled.
