| Detailed Description |
The Opera Web browser, according to its version number, has a JavaScript denial of service vulnerability. Opera is a Web browser, developed by Opera Software, for multiple operating systems. Opera versions 7.23 and possibly other versions running on Microsoft Windows are vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability in the processing of a specific JavaScript command. A remote attacker could create a hostile HTML containing the getElementsByTagName method and malicious JavaScript that, when loaded by the target user, will cause the target user's browser to crash.
