Detailed Description |
A version of Opera web browser which is older than version 9.23 has been installed on the host. Opera is a Web browser, developed by Opera Software, for multiple operating systems. Opera versions prior to 9.23 could allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on the affected host via specially-crafted Javascript. By persuading a victim to visit a malicious Web site containing a specially-crafted Javascript, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the user running the affected application.
