Detailed Description |
The version of Firefox installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 131.0.2. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the mfsa2024-51 advisory.
- An attacker was able to achieve code execution in the content process by exploiting a use-after-free in Animation timelines. We have had reports of this vulnerability being exploited in the wild. (CVE-2024-9680)
